Our purpose is the objective research of any cases of unexplained phenomena that is not within the range of normal experience or current scientifically explainable phenomena.

Based in the northwest of the UK, the UPIA were founded in 1998, to research and investigate the large number of paranormal, UFO, logical and other strange reports emanating from the UK. The UPIA are fully trained organisation, standardised by the paranormal BITC course. Leaders in their field.

The United Paranormal Alliance was founded in January of 2006 by Christopher Overly of The Tri-State Area Paranormal Phenomena Research Society, and Deb Martin of Ghostly Happenings Paranormal Investigations to show that they collaborated with each other, respected the other’s group, and also agreed to similar standards while researching the paranormal.

The Ghost Research Society was formed as a clearing house for reports of ghosts, hauntings, poltergeist and life after death encounters. The society members actively research and investigate all reports that come their way including private homes and businesses. The society also analyzes alleged spirit photographs, video and audio tapes that they come across from ordinary people or society members.
