We’d just like to announce the launch of a sister site to Haunted England, This service is a directory of paranormal related websites, and you can list your website free of charge, on top of other options:

+ 30 Day Sponsored - Your link is shown at the top of the list for your category, in a highlighted box, thus ensuring your listing is more visible to directory viewers.

Remember though you don’t have to upgrade your listing, nor do you have to link back to us, however if you choose too, we’d appreciate that as it helps to maintain and promote our directory.

OK so how is ‘Haunted England Directory’ different from ‘Haunted England Top 100’, well the top 100 is about members of the public voting for whom they feel is most resourceful site, however our new directory is a paranormal directory search engine.

We’ve recently had support requests asking why we discontinued the comments system on Haunted England Top 100, well the answer to this, is we where receiving over 3000 spam comments every day, and trying to find the genuine ones were becoming difficult, hence it’s feature closure. We have now included the comments feature on our new directory service, but with a slight difference, to prevent automated spam messages, users will now see a generated image with a set of numbers, they are required to enter into a field before submission, this won’t stop it all, but it will prevent those automated ones, thus helping to keep our site operating at optimal speed.

Websites can also be rated in addition to commented, If your site has been seen by Thumbshots.org then an image of your website will also be presented within your listing.

In addition for those of you wanting to know what Page Rank, Google gives you, once your listing is accepted you will be able to see this information.

When submitting your website there are a further two options, you can simply navigate to the correct category and click the ‘Suggest Link’ button and fill in the form to submit your link, or register as an editor which will allow you to sign in and maintain your listing, or any amount of listings you make.
